That's one Elf of a way to save a Kingdom

Elium creeped into the meeting hall from a side door, keeping himself ducked down to avoid being seen. Elven kind had been at war with the Nagas for a while now, and the Elves were nearly beaten, so Elium's father, the king of Elves, had called a meeting with the king of Nagas to try and work out a deal to end the war. Elium, being the King's youngest son and born delicate unlike his brothers, had been kept within the castle walls and sheltered from news of the war, though he knew some of what was happening from overhearing gossip from the servants. It was from the servants that he knew the Naga king was going to be meeting with his father, and he let his curiosity get the better of him, which led to him sneaking inside.

Aran sighed, sitting next to his father as he and the Elf king discussed negotiations for ending the war. He glanced around the room, tail tapping on the ground, when he caught sight of Elium. He grinned, licking his lips at the sight of the pretty elf, nudging his father after a moment and whispering something to him. The Naga King nodded, smirking, and returned to the conversation.

"My son would also like that elf there, hiding, as part of the deal. Give him to us, or the war continues."

Elium froze when he had been pointed out and mentioned as part of the deal, his eyes widening. The king frowned before looking where the Naga king was speaking of. "Hidden elf? Show yourself!" The king demanded, then his eyes widened when Elium slowly stood up. He, himself, quickly stood with his hands on the table. "Elium! What in the world are you doing here?!" The king asked with wide eyes.

Elium flinched at his fathers voice, slowly walking over with his head bowed. "I'm sorry, father, I was curious." He said in a soft voice, forcing himself not to look at the Nagas.

The king shook his head and looked at the King of the nagas. "Anything else but him. He is my youngest son, he's never even left the castle!"

"Mm, so you want a war?" The Naga king asked, drumming his claws on the table impatiently. He looked up, looking bored. "My son wants him, and what my son wants, I give him. So hand the elf over."

Aran grinned at that, looking Elium over like he was a piece of meat. Already, he was thinking of what he was going to do with the elf once he got home with him.

The king looked ready to protest again, but Elium gently touched his father's arm, looking resigned. "It's okay, father." He said softly, looking up at the king. "If it's to save the kingdom, I will go. At least this is something I can do."

"Elium, we can find another way..." The king said softly, gently grabbing his son's hands.

Elium shook his head and kissed his father's cheek. "This is the only way, father. They'll continue the war and the kingdom will fall if we don't do as they wish. I will be all right, father." He promised, though he was terrified of going with the Nagas. He wasn't about to let his father know that, though.

The king smirked and gestured for Elium to come over, ignoring the look on his son's face for the moment. "Come along, little elf. We're done here. The war is over, you have your peace."

"Yes, thank you, father, he's a lovely gift." Once Elium was close enough, Aran pulled him into his coils, looking him over and purring. "Such a pretty thing you are, aren't you?"

Elium said one last goodbye to his father before going with the Naga's. He gasped when he was pulled into Aran's coils and shuddered, knowing that if Aran chose to, he could crush Elium. "I-I have been told I am quite b-beautiful." He said, trying, and failing, to stay strong in the face of the nagas. "F-Father kept me in the castle to keep anyone f-from taking me."

"All the better, or I would've never gotten to have you." Aran hummed, barely paying attention as his father wrapped up the meeting. "Mm, you'll like our home~ Or, well, you'll learn to like it. You won't be seeing the outside much, but I'm sure you're used to that."

Elium bit his lip and looked away from Aran, trying to ignore the coils around him. "I...I'm afraid." He admitted softly, wrapping his arms tightly around himself. "I-I don't know what it's like out there, I've barely seen anyone other than servants since I was a child..."

"Oohh, poor thing~" Aran cooed, starting to tug Elium along when it was time for them to leave. He grinned and tried to make the elf stumble, enjoying how frightened he was. "Don't worry, I'll take care of you~"
