Re: The Scaled Gods

"Ah! Thank you for reminding me!" Oasa gasped, handing the clothing to Serrin before rushing back inside to find the bracelet he had had made. The clothing, once unfolded, was one big loose dress; with a tie at the neck to hold it up and one in the middle, in case it was too big for comfort. "Just something with out address and my name, so they'll know that you're not running away or anything."

Re: The Scaled Gods

Serrin walked back in after Oasa, blushing a bit before setting aside the dress and undressing. His skin looked soft to the touch, and there was light freckles running across his body. Red and gold feathers ran down his spine from where the top of his wings met his back and ended just at his hips. He set his old clothes aside before reaching for his new clothes.

Oasa tried to be sneaky about looking, not wanting to make Serrin uncomfortable but unable to control himself. He wanted to run his hands through those red feathers and feel how soft they were, but for now he tried to concentrate on finding the little bracelet. "What do you like to eat, Serrin? I'll make you anything you want,"

Serrin pulled the dress on before answering Oasa. "I am more of a fruit and berry person." He said, tying the dress behind his neck and under his wings. "I've never been able to eat much meat unfortunately."

"I have plenty of both!" Oasa beamed, taking a moment to just look over Serrin and feel his heart flutter in happiness before leading him back down and into the kitchen. "I must eat meat, but I love to add fruit with my meals,"

"Oh, it's not from lack of having meat that I've been unable to have it, my body just refuses to accept meat." Serrin explained as he followed Oasa. "I can only eat very few types, and very sparsely."

"I will make sure to always have plenty of fruit and vegetables. Can you eat nuts or insects? I don't quite know how to prepare them, but I'm sure learning isn't hard." Oasa asked, wanting to provide Serrin with whatever he needed to be healthy and happy. He opened one of the cabinets and pulled out a bowl of fruits, trying to think of meals he could create with them. "Why don't we just go to the markets together, and you can pick out whatever you want?"

"I can eat nuts, but I've never had insects." Serrin said, his face flushing slightly. "I've never thought of them as food before, mostly they were a nuisance back home." He explained, looking curiously at the bowl of fruit.

"Here, eat your fill. I'll go look up recipes later. Insects, we've found, are very good for protein. They are delicious when fried, I'll have to make some," Oasa grinned, thinking of all the things he had to make Serrin try now. "If you eat them, there are less to annoy you, right?"

Serrin couldn't help but laugh, a soft and gentle sound. "I suppose that's true." He said, a smile on his face as he took one of the fruit and bit into it, practically moaning at the flavor. "This is wonderful, Oasa, thank you."
