Re: Feathered Fae
"Everything looks so soft," Reese murmured, walking to the bed and sitting on the edge, just petting the soft moss for a moment. He covered another yawn, then crawled up the bed to lay down properly, for the first time feeling pleasantly drowsy instead of exhausted. "This is the first time I can remember sleeping in a bed."

Re: Feathered Fae
"You will always have a bed to sleep in from now on." Tarragon said, sitting on the edge of the bed. "Are you comfortable? I am told humans like blankets and such, and I have a few tucked away in case you would like them."

Re: Feathered Fae
"I-I would like one, please," Reese nodded quickly, ready to wrap himself up in soft fabric and sleep soundly, like he had fantasized about growing up. "Then, um...c-could you hold me, j-just for a little while?"

Re: Feathered Fae
Tarragon smiled and gently touched Reese's cheek, gently stroking a thumb under his eyes. "I would enjoy that." He murmured before going and retrieving a soft blanket made of furs. He gave it a good shake before draping it around Reese until he was fully covered from the neck down. "Does this work alright?"

Re: Feathered Fae
Reese let out something like a purr, holding the blanket tightly to him and snuggling into it. "Oohh, it's perfect, just like I imagined~" He let out a soft laugh and nuzzled his face into the furs, before biting his lip and looking up at Tarragon expectantly.

Re: Feathered Fae
Tarragon couldn't help but chuckle at the look, slowly laying on the bed and wrapping his arms around Reese. "Mm, as I expected, you fit perfectly in my arms." He said with a gentle smile, pulling Reese close and tucking his head under his chin.

Re: Feathered Fae
Reese flushed at that and buried himself against Tarragon, feeling safe and comfortable and happy for the first time that he could remember. Slowly, he let his eyes close, then let out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding. "This place is heaven," He mumbled, looking ready to pass out right there.

Re: Feathered Fae
"Get some rest little one." Tarragon said with a soft smile, gently rubbing Reese's back slowly. "You deserve a good rest."

Re: Feathered Fae
Reese fell asleep with little trouble, not waking until late the next morning. He sat up and rubbed at his eyes, already looking better; his skin was a healthier pink than before, his cheeks were rosy, and there was a brightness in his eyes that hadn't been there yesterday. With a yawn, he stretched, ready to go right back to sleep. "Mn..Tarragon? What time is it?"

Re: Feathered Fae
"Nearing noon now." Tarragon said gently, smiling as he touched Reese's cheek. "How was your sleep?" He asked softly.
